A fence is only as good as its posts

Every leaning fence leans for the same reason — posts set in dirt, or a coffee can's worth of dry mix. The panels are almost never the problem.

We dig proper footings, set every post in concrete, and get each one plumb before a picket goes on. Gates get extra attention, because gates fail first: real hinge hardware, diagonal bracing, posts that don't move.

  • Concrete-set posts below the frost line
  • Gates braced against sag
  • Wood privacy or ornamental aluminum
  • Tear-out and haul-off of the old fence

Wood or aluminum

Pressure-treated pine is the workhorse — full privacy, strong value per foot, takes stain after a season.

Ornamental aluminum keeps your view and airflow, never rots, and reads more upscale from the street. It's what we recommend around pools and on front-facing runs.

What it costs

Wood privacy typically runs $28–$45 per linear foot; aluminum $45–$75.

Gates, grade changes and tear-out are priced separately — we'll break it out so you can see it.

  • Terrain and grade changes add labor
  • Gate count and width matter more than people expect
  • Old fence removal adds haul-off
